The purchase of this engine is on an exchange basis for your old engine

Your old engine must be in a serviceable condition by this we mean that the block and head are  free of holes, cracks and splits.

The easiest way for us to confirm this is by you sending us a photo of the block and head.

If your engine block or head is damaged beyond repair a surcharge will be added to cover the cost of a new block and head.

The engine you are purchasing comprises of new parts and reconditioned parts.

The following uprated parts are brand new

• Water pump
• Cam shaft
• Hydraulic tappet
• Head gasket
• Piston rings
• Big end bearings
• Main bearings
• Oil pump
• Oil pump chain and tensioner
• Valve stem seals
• Front + rear crank seal
• Cam shaft seal

The following parts are fully reconditioned

• Cylinder block – Cleaned, deck surface skimmed, painted
• Crank shaft – Cleaned and inspected
• Crank seal housing – Cleaned, inspected and painted
• Piston and connecting rods – Cleaned, inspected and rings replaced
• Sump – Cleaned and inspected
• Head – Cleaned, inspected, deck surface skimmed, pressure tested valves reseated, valve guides and valve stem seals fitted
